Izvinjavam se sto otvaram novu temu, ali interesuje me da li neko ima iskustva sa peyote grafting-om.

Dobio sam 2 peyote kaktusa 3-4 cm oba i jedan san pedro 25cm .

intersuje me kako da uradim grafting peyotla na san pedro al da ne unistim sve .

Ima li ko kakvih materijala linkova slika...

bilo bi pozeljno slikovito jer i ne kontam bas ono kad pise na engleskom...

trazio sam po google-u al nikako da nadjem pa reko ako ima neko od vas iskustva sa ovim da mi pomogne.

cuj sve je na engleskom, netko bi to trebao prevest fino...jer ovako nema druge. ovdje je npr. sve fino objasnjeno..nema slika nema niceg ali eto moras da se snades :))

Grafting Peyote

Grafting peyote is the fastest way to grow this plant. It is really very simple to do. You will need a live peyote plant (I recommend a minimum ¼ inch diameter), a live san pedro in a four inch pot, alcohol, a very sharp strong knife and two rubber bands. Start by scraping a little dirt off the top of your peyote to expose more of the button. Wipe your blade with alcohol and dry it before every cut. Now place your cactus on its side while holding the pot off the table and the cactus lying flat on the table. Cut your cactus off about 1 inch above the edge of the pot. Your first new plant is the cactus cutting. Stand your pot up. Now make a bevel cut at about a 45º angle all the way around the edge of your cactus. If you don’t do this, as the cactus heals it will push your button off. Place one rubber band on the pot and now make the last cut on your cactus. This will be a thin sliver across the top of the cut that you hold in place as the knife leaves the plant. This will protect the cut while you are working on the peyote.

Now cut off your peyote. Make sure that you leave enough of the button on the mother plant so that it will be a mother plant and have pups. After you have your peyote cut, quickly remove the sliver from the cactus and put your peyote in place. The faster you do this the better. These cut surfaces should be exposed to as little air as possible. Then place the rubber band on top of the peyote to hold it in place. Make sure the rubber band holds the peyote securely without squashing it. Then place the other rubber band in the other direction.



Avoid direct sunlight for 5-10 days. Your graft should be healed in 10 days. Now you can treat it like a san pedro cactus and not peyote. A graft easily grows 10 times faster than peyote in the dirt. When your peyote graft has grown to an inch or more you can cut the top off of it and graft it. Now the first graft will start to produce pups and the next thing you know you have 10 little buttons to graft and on and on and on.

grafting peyotle je najednostavniji i najbrži način za uzgajati ovu biljku:)))

hehe super snaci cu se ja ....hvala na info i a sto se tice ovog san pedra samo cu zabit u zemlju ovaj cutting i ostavit jedno 5-6 dana i onda zalit pa ako se primi super...

Ljubitelje kaktusa želimo upoznati i s jednostavnom metodom cijepljenja, 
koja se sastoji od toga da se odrezani dio biljke (cijep) stavi na drugu (podloga). 
Cijep se uzima od spororastućih sorti i stavlja ga se na brzorastuće deblo kao bismo 
ubrzali rast. Biljke se mogu cijepiti u svakoj dobi starosti, ali će uspjeh biti veći, ako 
to radimo na mladoj biljci. Uzimaju se biljke stare 1-2 godine, a može i mlađe. Za 
cijepljenje je glavni alat britva ili oštar nož. Za podlogu cijepljenja preporučaju se 
sljedeće vrste: Trichocereus, Opuntia, Cereus, Pereskia, Myrtillocactus geometrizans, 
Hylocereus i Pereskiopsis. Kad se cijepe drugi sukulenti, bitno je da se uzimaju biljke 
iz iste porodice. Kod cijepljene biljke podloga zadržava vlagu, a mladica-novi vrh biljke 
mora biti u sjeni i na toplom 10-14 dana. Pri kraju ovog razdoblja skine se učvrščivač, 
mladica je već priraštena na podlogu i biljka se počinje normalno održavati.
